Do-follow blogs are blogs where links in your comment are counted and you receive maximum SEO benefits for participation. Many blogs use a special “no-follow” attribute in their comment links that prevents search engines from indexing or following the links. First of all I would like to thank you for your comment. I cannot agree more with your insight requesting readers not to spam on the blogs I have listed in my post. As a blog owner I am fully ware of this and I too receive many spam comments daily. It is important to know that most leading blogs will manually approve comments. As such any spam comments that add no value to the discussion are likely to be deleted anyway. In the odd chance that a spam comment does get published by accident, it will only damage your brand. And you need to ask yourself if the back-link is really worth the risk.
There is also concern that the comments we make on blogs are accused as spam, not approved or ignored by the owner of the blog. I often make comments but don’t always have enough time to follow if my comment is approved or not. Blog comments takes time and is quite exhausting.

You are right. No Follow links are also important. Majority of leading blogs are no follow. To be honest, I regularly participate in blogs that are no follow by default like this blog as well. They offer a lot of benefits too.
So long as the content of the comment is meaningful to the original subject and has no sales pitch of any kind in the message I think allowing dofollow links is a kind of harmless, reciprocal thank you for participating in the blog.
So long as the SPAM is detected and kept at bay of course!

Thank you for your comment. You have raised an interesting issues as to whether allowing do follow links on your blog is harmless or not. Although I agree with you, that is should be harmless, the comments in my blog are still no followed. To be honest, as you are probably aware, the comments on WordPress Blogs are no-followed by default. I have just not felt it to be important enough to change.
On another note, most of the blogs I comment on use no-follow attribute in comment links but I find it equally beneficial. They are also picked up and indexed by search engines. So I guess it does not really matter.

Simple Google search will give you the list of blogs with dofollow. Also, there are firefox addons to say whether the given page is dofollow or not. However, look for relevant pages and high ranking at the domain level for posting comments.
it’s true that Do follow blog are used to cache contextual link building and back link.. i appreciate that for SEO purpose back links are important for getting web traffic….
