By the way, great article about 71 Ways to Drive Traffic to Your Blog. I don’t know if its really relevant to this topic, but what are the best free blogs or sites that allow user-sponsored advertising and sales? Trying to learn more on the subject and have heard that there are some blogs that allow free banner exchange which can also provide some good source for traffic to your blog.

I totally agree with Luke Metcalfe, they are some really good ways to drive traffic to your site. You may also find my service Domain Check SEO (see my comment link) to help you to drive draffic to your website and be on the first page of Google!
I think you have provided some great tips here particularly the content tips. There a lot more sites similar to Hub Pages that allow you to publish content for free such as Helium and Ezine which also have high DAs. I think, as long as your content is original and non promotional, it’s an easy way to generate traffic to your site.

Luke, I agree. I too use several other user generated content sites like Helium, Gather, Wizzly, Zomba and more from time to time. I don’t however recommend posting the same content everywhere due to duplicate content issues. Instead from time to time, I pick out a few articles and publish them elsewhere with a slightly different angle. Ideally, I would like to write completely new articles for all sites but as we all know, this is not always possible due to time limitations.
