Thank you for sharing such an excellent article. Great list of project management tools I haven’t ever seen. These tools are very helpful because it is a challenging job to manage over all work between team members through emails and other types of communication. These methods causes lack in productivity of an organisation by wasting time on a particular project individually.

      Dear Signoff,
Project management tools are becoming very popular now a days. I think a lot to do is with the fact that we are relying increasingly on teams that are based in different locations. Trying to manage all information in emails can be messy and get out of hand very quickly. Project or task management tools on the other hand make it easy to maintain all project related info in a central place with easy access.

      Dear Rahul,
Thank you for your comment. Project management tools are becoming increasingly important in the new online landcape where it is common to collaborate with remote workers, virtual teams and colleagues from different locations. These apps offer a central place for managing your tasks and make it easy to collaborate and work with others. And they are free so I don’t see any downsides. Just need to try a few out and see what works best for your business.

Nice list, sums up some very good task management tools. Just wanted to let you know, that the creators of Wunderkit decided to shut down their tool, so it won’t be online soon.

I also created a task management tool called ThunderTask at http://thundertask.com, maybe you would like to check it :)
