Excellent blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Thank you!

Amsmuke, My advice to you would be to go for a self-hosted WordPress blog at least if your aim is to eventually set up a profitable blog or to be a full time professional blogger. If resources are limited, you can start by creating a free blog on WordPress.com. However in the long run you will have full control and ownership only if you host a blog yourself. WordPress is easy to install and you can do it yourself. There are many cheap web hosting packages so expenses will be very limited if you decide to for for a self hosted option as I have recommended. Ultimately, you need great content to be successful.
These article sites are great. I use them all the time to write articles so I can get more publicity and links for my sites. Article sites are very effective for this. New sites are also launched regularly.

Many times existing sites cease to exist and you can loose some of your backlinks this way. When I first started I had a big list of 100 article sites that I used to try and target. However, now my list only includes a handful of quality sites.None of these are ever likely to stop existing plus I wasn’t really seeing benefits from the smaller sites so this strategy is working better for me.
