Hi
Nice list of UK Business Directories..
I know of another Business Directory that you may wish to add, its called FreeBD – http://www.freebd.co.uk
Thanks a bunch!
Carl
I believe registering on business directories is a very good idea to improve your search rankings especially for local marketing because they are hosted on trusted domains and by using the integrated social media apps (twitter, facebook etc) and reviews you can create enough “buzz” (back links) to get a free listing showing up for your chosen keyword phrase on google . I will be registering on these myself thank you
You are right about the benefits of directory listings. In spite of the recent Google Algorithm changes that have resulted in the devaluation of many business and article directory links, listing on high ranking, reputable directories is still very useful. It is important however to combine it other more effective methods such as content creation and blogging.
Thanks for your nice posting. Directory listings is always good idea to get links and improve search engine ranking. Regional directories can be good for targeting local markets. You can see now our directory site G-Buss by following my comment link. It is free directory.
It also helps to list your business on Google plus local too. I have gained more much advantage in socializing on Google’s new social network as compared to many other directories.
