Mary, You are right to state that Twitter is useful for researching topics. I personally however use it mostly to share information that I think will be useful for my network. I inform readers about my new posts via Twitter and also share any other useful content or posts I come across on other blogs. I guess this versatility is what makes Twitter so powerful.

Twitter is the best for gathering information on a variety of topics.In one glance at ur tweets,you can be informed about issues and events that matters to you in real time.And if you want to get more info on a single topic,just click it and it can open up to a whole new world of information.I actually do my research in here.

I just stumbled upon your own blog and I’ve really appreciated reading it. The main difference between Twitter is the short message limit. Micro blogging was invented by Twitter when it started. Other web sites have copied this model with less success. Media buzz around Twitter has helped soar its use.

One of the best things about Twitter is the diversity in which it can be applied to meet inidvidual needs. Twitter has proved popular for a wide range of activities such as Live sports scores and commentaries, Support groups, technical support for products, employee communication, company news, customer response, and so on and so fourth. No other social networking tool has the level of diversity offered by Twitter.It has become so pupular for a reason.
